Job summary

Horace Mann invites you to join its Agent Opportunities program in Oregon, offering a 1099 compensation model with an industry-leading 48-month incentive package. You will have exclusive territory, cutting-edge tools, and ongoing training to build and grow your agency without needing an external office for the first two years.

You’ll focus on educating educators about affordable insurance solutions, expanding market access, and presenting products to groups and individuals while actively

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and business development abilities.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with educators and clients.
• Proven networking and community engagement skills.
• Knowledge of insurance and financial services products is preferred.
• Licenses required or ability to obtain as listed.

What We're Looking For

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred)
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses:
• Life and Health Insurance License
• Property and Casualty Insurance License
• Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region)
