Role Description

The Insurance Agent role is a full-time, on-site position based Monroe, Lenawee, Washtenaw, and Livingston Counties. The agent is responsible for building and maintaining a portfolio of clients, conducting needs-based consultations, and recommending appropriate insurance and financial products. Daily activities include prospecting new clients, following up on leads, preparing quotes, presenting coverage options, and assisting policyholders with changes, claims, and policy reviews. The role involves working closely with local communities, participating in networking events, and adhering to regulatory and company compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, problem-solving, and relationship building.
• Relevant state insurance licensing (or ability to obtain within required timeframe).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with comfort presenting to individuals and small groups.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented work style with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and CRM or agency management systems.
• Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or sales is preferred but not required.
