Job summary

Deloitte’s London Insurance Accounting Advisory team is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to guide complex accounting and reporting initiatives for external financial statements and GAAP/IFRS conversions. You will lead technical accounting advisory engagements, support large transformation programs, and partner with cross-functional teams across actuarial, tax, risk and regulatory experts.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with experience leading accounting teams in professional services or insurance.
• Extensive experience leading complex technical accounting advisory engagements (IFRS 17 required).
• Significant experience in finance transformation across insurance domains.
• Strong understanding of technology, AI and automation in finance transformation.
• Excellent communicator with ability to manage senior stakeholders.
• Proven ability to mentor junior team members and develop talent.
• Strong people management and development skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain internal and external networks.
• Experience in large-scale multi-year finance implementation or transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead accounting advisory engagements for complex transactions.
