Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services seeks an Insurance Account Specialist II to assist the AVP of Insurance Services with developing, administering, and supporting insurance programs. You will maintain customer records, prepare quotes, assist with renewals and cancellations, collect payments, and deliver excellent service to members and clients.

The role requires strong communication, relationship-building, and knowledge of commercial and health insurance products, with DMV-related services experience

Qualifications

• Previous sales experience in personal lines, commercial, or life insurance.
• Understanding of credit union loan and banking operations, including regulatory compliance.
• Ability to research problems, identify opportunities, and recommend solutions.
• Work independently and within a team environment.
• Licenses in commercial, health, personal lines, and life insurance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Life & Health license in California.
• Develop strong relationships with new and assigned accounts.
• Understand member and client insurance needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Prepare and present insurance quotes.
• Sell insurance policies based on client needs.
• Maintain, update, and file insurance account records.
• Prepare and file statistical data reports with regulatory agencies.
• Oversee insurance payments and follow up on overdue payments.
• Manage policy renewals, reinstatements, and cancellations.
• Specialize in commercial and health insurance policies.
• Process DMV related services.
• Assess and analyze insurance needs and provide tailored recommendations.
• Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms.
• Review and interpret insurance contracts and documents.
• Provide guidance to team members on insurance matters.
• Support strategies to expand the insurance portfolio.
• Stay current on industry trends and regulations to support compliance.
• Conduct training sessions for staff on insurance products and services.
• Provide professional, efficient, and personalized service to members and clients.
