Job summary

Phil Pettit – State Farm Insurance in Albuquerque is seeking an Insurance Account Representative to help customers choose appropriate coverage and services. This in-office role focuses on building long-term relationships, handling Auto, Home, Renters, Life and Business policies, and meeting sales and service goals with base pay plus commission.

Candidates should hold a NM property & casualty license (or be eligible) and demonstrate strong communication, organization, and a customer-first

Qualifications

• Active New Mexico Property & Casualty license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Talk with customers about their insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage.
• Assist customers with Auto, Home, Renters, Life, Business and other insurance products.
• Respond to questions about policies, coverage, billing and policy changes.
• Follow up with customers and prospective customers.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional protection when appropriate.
• Schedule and conduct customer appointments.
• Develop new business through leads, referrals and customer relationships.
• Provide dependable, professional service throughout the customer experience.
• Work toward individual and agency sales and service goals.

Phil Pettit – State Farm Insurance has been serving customers in Albuquerque since 1999. We are looking for an Insurance Account Representative who enjoys working with people, solving problems and helping customers make informed decisions about their insurance coverage.

This is an in-office position for someone who wants to become a valued part of an established local agency and build long-term relationships with customers.

What You'll Be Doing

Additional qualifications that are a plus:

• Life & Health insurance license or willingness to obtain one
• Previous insurance agency experience
• Experience working toward sales or performance goals
