Mindful Therapy Group is seeking an experienced claim specialist to independently resolve complex insurance balances, denials, and claim-processing issues across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid payers. This is an in-office role at our Northgate headquarters in Seattle, Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of hands-on insurance A/R follow-up and denial management, with experience in payer outreach, portal research, and appeals.

Qualifications

• At least two years of direct medical insurance A/R follow-up experience.
• Experience resolving commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid claims.
• Proficient with payer portals and claim documentation.

Responsabilités

• Independently pursue outstanding insurance A/R with a focus on aged, denied, and rejected claims.
• Analyze denial reason codes, payer communications, eligibility, and authorization requirements to plan next steps.
• Submit and track corrected claims, reconsiderations, and appeals with supporting documentation.
• Communicate claim status to providers and internal teams clearly and professionally.
• Post insurance payments and adjustments accurately; ensure remittance alignment.
• Maintain thorough documentation in the EHR (AdvancedMD) and tracking tools.
