Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with builders, general contractors, developers, architects, property owners, and other construction professionals.
  • Prospect new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, jobsite visits, industry events, referrals, and market research.
  • Follow up on leads, bid opportunities, proposals, and open quotations to secure new projects.
  • Review plans, specifications, and project documents to identify project opportunities and prepare accurate quotations.
  • Present proposals, sell company services, negotiate pricing, and close sales opportunities.
  • Manage customer accounts and maintain regular communication throughout the sales and construction process.
  • Coordinate with estimating, operations, field personnel, and customers to ensure project expectations are met.
  • Conduct jobsite visits to build relationships, identify future opportunities, and address project concerns.
  • Monitor local market activity, competitors, industry trends, and pricing strategies.
  • Expand existing customer relationships by identifying opportunities to provide additional services and products.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure proper execution of contracts, submittals, purchase orders, and project documentation.
  • Assist with project management activities including schedule coordination, change orders, production updates, and project closeout.
  • Support collections efforts and collaborate with the accounting department regarding customer credit and receivables.
  • Provide market intelligence and strategic feedback to leadership to support continued growth and profitability.
