Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking an Installer to work at a premier manufacturing client in Dallas, TX. You will install ceramic-fiber insulation inside oven cabinets and combustion chambers, measure and fit blankets, and ensure tight seams while using PPE to protect yourself.

The role requires lifting up to 100 lbs occasionally, reading a tape measure to 1/16 inch, and a Monday–Friday 7:30am–4:00pm schedule in a safety-focused environment with weekly pay and opportunities to learn on the job.

• Able to lift 50 lbs regularly, up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Comfortable working inside oven cabinets and in a loud warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Install ceramic-fiber blankets and boards inside welded oven cabinets and combustion chambers.
• Measure, cut, and fit two-layer 2,300°F-rated blankets to walls, ceilings and doors.
• Pin or fasten insulation to achieve tight seams with no gaps.

Pay Rate: $17.50 per hour

Shift: 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday-Friday

What’s a typical day as Installer? You’ll be:

• Installing ceramic-fiber blanket and board inside welded steel oven cabinets and combustion chambers.
• Measuring, cutting, and fitting two-layer 2,300°F-rated ceramic-fiber blankets to walls, ceilings, and doors.
• Pinning, stud‑welding, or mechanically fastening insulation, ensuring tight seams without gaps or voids.
• Fitting and seating tadpole gaskets at door openings and cam‑lock sealing surfaces.
• Cutting openings for burner ports, thermocouples, stack penetrations, and access points.
• Verifying layer thickness and full coverage while maintaining material integrity.
• Handling and storing ceramic‑fiber materials to prevent damage.
• Managing fiber scrap and dust, keeping the work area clean and organized.
• Wearing required PPE at all times and reporting defects, shortages, or drawing discrepancies.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Can accurately read a tape measure to 1/16 inch and use basic arithmetic including fractions.
• Are able to lift 50 lbs regularly, and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Are comfortable working inside oven cabinets and can stand, kneel, and reach for a full shift.
• Are able to work around airborne insulation particles and in a loud warehouse environment.
• Can consistently wear a mask, gloves, and eye protection for extended periods.
• Have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
