Pacific Aire, Inc. is seeking an Insulation Install Apprentice in Oxnard, CA to support licensed HVAC technicians by assisting with setup, installation, and replacement of HVAC systems in homes and businesses. You will learn hands-on skills and work under supervision in a fast-growing residential service company.

Responsibilities include preparing tools, measuring, cutting, and following blueprints while adhering to safety and building codes. daily travel to job sites is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Enrollment in HVAC apprenticeship or trade school program preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Willingness to learn HVAC installation practices and safety protocols.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Assist HVAC installers with the setup, installation, and replacement of HVAC systems, including ductwork and wiring.
• Prepare tools, materials, and work areas, and perform basic tasks like measuring, cutting, drilling, and assembling under supervision.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and project instructions from senior technicians, ensuring all work meets building codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites, and document work performed and time logs as required.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers, and take part in training and safety meetings to build your HVAC trade knowledge.
