Job summary

Greene, Tweed is seeking an Engineer II to develop, implement, and support instrumentation, equipment, and testing capabilities for new product and technology development. This hands-on role enables scientists and engineers to execute development programs efficiently through reliable equipment, robust test methods, and fit-for-purpose capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, install, commission, troubleshoot, and improve laboratory and development equipment.
• Develop and validate new test methods and measurement capabilities.
• Lead technical aspects of equipment selection, acquisition, installation, and implementation.
• Improve equipment reliability, measurement consistency, data quality, and laboratory efficiency.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and equipment issues and identify practical engineering solutions.
• Partner with scientists, engineers, and technicians to translate project needs into instrumentation and testing solutions.
• Provide hands-on engineering support during early-stage development and transitions to users.
