Job summary

Greene, Tweed is seeking a production/engineering technician to operate lab and process equipment, prepare samples, and collect data for development and transfer to production. You will assist engineers with troubleshooting, QA, and process improvements in a safety‑minded environment.

The role involves performing inspections, handling materials, and supporting packaging, rework, and assembly as part of a cross‑functional team in manufacturing settings.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic lab equipment and analytical measuring instruments (calipers, scales, etc.).
• Ability to observe, measure and enter results into electronic systems.
• Experience following multi-step procedures and working with production/engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes production and/or development equipment in sample preparation activities.
• Operates equipment safely and cleanly.
• Carries out experiments, captures data, and reports to development engineers.
• Assists with process recipe development, prototype manufacturing, and transfer to production per QA protocols.
• Performs visual and dimensional inspection; interprets inspection reports and suggests adjustments.
• Provides general support including packaging, rework, assembly and hardware install.
• Assist engineering with troubleshooting product defects and process improvements.
• Support design-for-manufacturing, planning, estimating, material handling and testing rigs.
