Job summary
The Doe Run Company is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to support operations by ensuring instrumentation is functional and calibrated, while safely maintaining production goals. This day-shift role is based in Boss, Missouri, with potential work location changes within SEMO to support production needs.
Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1 year of process control instrumentation experience, and a valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Associate’s Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with process control instrumentation, electrical, and industrial electronics.
- Valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and calibrate instruments on equipment including analyzers, PLC and process control equipment, and data logging systems.
- Rebuild equipment and manage parts requisition, teardown and rebuilds.
- Install, program and calibrate new equipment; evaluate latest technologies for feasibility and efficiency.
- Serve as project manager: scope of work, specifications, budgeting and contractor coordination.
- Train operational staff on proper use of equipment; maintain records of maintenance projects.
- Develop and maintain instrument preventive maintenance program.
