Job summary

Rayonier Advanced Materials is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to ensure the safe installation, repair, and maintenance of measurement equipment throughout the plant. Candidates will work with both instrumentation and electrical trades. Responsibilities include calibrating instruments, working with electronic control systems, and maintaining records.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED, with relevant experience in industrial settings. RYAM offers competitive pay up to $100,000 annually along with benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two plus years of industrial or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with plant operations and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Calibrating and repairing instruments and associated equipment.
• Working with electronic control systems including sensors.
• Measuring levels, pressures, temperatures, and flow.

Skills

Calibrating and repairing instruments

Experience with DCS and PLC control systems

Knowledgeable of automatic valve rigging

Strong communication skills

Education
