Job summary

Koch Fertilizer, LLC is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to troubleshoot and maintain Instrumentation & Electrical control systems at the Sergeant Bluff, IA terminal. You will manage calibration, installation, verification, and maintenance of SIS, SCADA, PLC, and HMI systems while supporting safety and reliability of operations.

The role requires experience or training in electrical control systems and reading electrical drawings, with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience or training in electrical control systems maintenance
• Ability to read electrical and piping drawings
• Valid Driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and validate SIS/SCADA/PLC/HMI systems
• Troubleshoot and maintain I&E control systems via inspections and repairs
• Manage daily maintenance using CMMS
• Perform reliability-based maintenance on instruments and analyzers
• Improve maintenance processes and efficiency
• Operate ammonia refrigeration and storage systems
• Support full life cycle of ammonia processes and related equipment
