Job summary

The Doe Run Company is seeking an Instrumentation Technician to ensure all instrumentation is functional, calibrated, and safely supporting production goals. Day shift at Brushy Surface, Boss, MO, with potential location changes to Viburnum Trend as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma, an associate degree preferred, and at least 1 year of instrumentation experience. Proficiency in AutoCAD, PLCs, and VFDs is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree in Electronics or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with process control instrumentation and electrical/industrial electronics.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Proficient with AutoCAD, PLCs, VFDs, and reading wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and calibrate instruments across diverse equipment.
• Rebuild equipment including parts requisition, teardown and reassembly as needed.
• Install, program and calibrate new equipment; evaluate new technologies.
• Serve as project manager: scope, specifications, planning, budgeting and vendor coordination.
• Train staff on equipment operation and safe practices.
• Create and maintain drawings and maintenance records.
• Support development and sustainability of the instrument tech preventive maintenance program.
• Operate safely per EHS policies and report incidents or unsafe conditions.
