Job summary

The Doe Run Company seeks an Instrumentation Technician at Fletcher Surface in Centerville, Missouri to ensure instrumentation is functional and calibrated while supporting production goals. This day shift role requires a high school diploma, related technical training, and one year of instrumentation experience.

You will install, calibrate, and maintain equipment, assist with PLCs and VFDs, and contribute to EHS compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or better required or equivalent.
• Associate degree preferred in electronics or related field.
• Minimum 1 year experience with process control instrumentation and electrical/electronic systems.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate instruments across equipment and systems.
• Rebuild equipment and manage parts and materials for maintenance.
• Install, program and calibrate new equipment and evaluate new tech.
• Serve as project manager for scopes, specs, budgeting and contractor liaison.
• Train staff on equipment usage and safety.
• Create drawings and maintain maintenance records.
• Support preventative maintenance program and EHS compliance.
• Perform duties safely and report unsafe acts or conditions.
