Job summary

Rust Automation & Controls, headquartered in West Jordan, Utah, seeks a detail-oriented Instrumentation Specialist to work in-office with outside sales teams. You will provide technical and product support, prepare quotations, process orders, and ensure timely follow-up throughout the sales process.

• Provide technical, application, and product support including pricing and delivery information to salespeople and customers.

• Support Project Manager & Outside Sales with lead qualification, bid specifications, and project bid specifications.
• Answer sales personnel’s questions regarding doing business with Rust Automation & Controls (tools and processes).
• Read and understand P&ID sheets.
• Assist and manage sales initiatives to drive business directly with customers.

General:

Rust Automation & Controls is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Instrumentation Specialist. In this in-office role, you will work closely with outside sales teams to deliver technical and product support, prepare accurate quotations, process orders, and ensure timely follow-up throughout the sales process. Success in this position requires strong problem-solving abilities, technical aptitude, and outstanding communication skills.

Role + Responsibilities

• Provide technical, application, and product support, including pricing and delivery information to salespeople and customers
• Review incoming orders for proper product selection and application.
• Support Project Manager & Outside Sales with lead qualification/follow-up, bid specifications, and project bid specifications
• Answer sales personnel’s questions regarding doing business with Rust Automation & Controls (tools and processes)

• Assist and manage certain sales initiatives to drive business directly with customers
