Job summary

Rust Automation & Controls in West Jordan, Utah, seeks a detail-oriented Instrumentation Specialist to work with outside sales, deliver technical and product support, prepare quotations, process orders, and ensure timely follow-up throughout the sales process. Success requires strong problem-solving abilities, technical aptitude, and outstanding communication.

Reading and understanding P&ID sheets is essential.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager & Outside Sales with lead qualification/follow-up, bid specifications, and project bid specifications.
• Answer sales personnel’s questions regarding doing business with Rust Automation & Controls (tools and processes).
• Reading and understanding P&ID sheets.
• Assist and manage certain sales initiatives to drive business directly with customers.

General:

Rust Automation & Controls is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Instrumentation Specialist. In this in-office role, you will work closely with outside sales teams to deliver technical and product support, prepare accurate quotations, process orders, and ensure timely follow-up throughout the sales process. Success in this position requires strong problem-solving abilities, technical aptitude, and outstanding communication skills.

Role + Responsibilities

• Provide technical, application, and product support, including pricing and delivery information to salespeople and customers
