Job summary

Indorama Ventures is seeking a Maintenance Planner to develop quality job plans for maintenance work orders in a manufacturing environment. You will plan for Instrumentation, Electrical, and Mechanical crafts, ensuring safe, efficient, and effective execution per the job plan.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a maintenance technician with PM planning, an engineering background, and proficiency in CMMS (prefer SAP HANA) and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5+ years as a maintenance technician/specialist with at least 5 years of Preventive Maintenance Planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Or Associate Degree with a minimum of 3 years as a maintenance technician/specialist and at least 2 years of Preventive Maintenance Planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Instrument/Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance background is required.
• Experience operating Windows software (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Ability to independently plan, organize, prioritize, and estimate.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, bill of materials, and detailed drawings.
• Experience creating Maintenance plans in a CMMS, preferably SAP HANA.
• Must be a well-organized, team player.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders for completeness and return if not complete.
• Escalate issues to the Maintenance Work Process Lead.
• Use archived Task Lists as the basis for new plans.
• Prepare detailed maintenance plans with schedules and required resources.
• Input plans into SAP with resources and materials.
• Prepare job packages for Work Coordinator and Crafts to ensure safe, quality work.
• Coordinate with Storekeeper on material availability and SAP RSCD coding.
• Modify plans when material delivery is delayed and expedite when needed.
• Maintain backlog and participate in safety meetings.
