Job summary

VEGA Americas is seeking an Inside Sales - Technical Team professional to engage with customers, respond to inquiries, and develop quotations that meet performance, delivery, and pricing requirements. You will train internally on VEGA instrumentation and support customer engagements at trade shows and visits.

Qualifications

• Four-year Degree, preferably in a Technical Field.
• AND customer service experience.
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Very detailed and organized

Responsibilities

• Initiate and participate in proactive conversations with outside sales to develop sales strategies for increased activity in Business Development team territories.
• Receive and respond to phone, e-mail, and web-based inquiries regarding technical data and pricing, delivery, or application information.
• Engage with LinkedIn as a sales tool - share with your network and VEGA Americas customer base on interesting applications worked on.
• Develop clear and effective quotations for current and prospective customers, representatives, and/or Regional Sales or Industry Sales.
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
• Active participation in LiveChat and customer support.
• Encourage and promote customer engagement with myVEGA including set-up and support.
• Backup for the Inside Sales team with phone calls and email support as needed.
