Job summary

VEGA Americas in Mason, OH is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to join our growing office. You will respond to inquiries, develop quotations, and support the sales cycle from initial contact to order follow-up.

This role emphasizes building relationships with customers and representatives, handling technical data, pricing, and delivery information, and contributing to new business development with CRM-backed support.

Qualifications

• Two year degree, preferably in a technical field.
• 1+ year of customer service or sales experience.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience
• CRM system experience

Responsibilities

• Receive and respond to inquiries regarding technical data, price, delivery, or application information from customers and representatives.
• Develop clear and effective quotations for current and prospective customers, representatives and/or Regional Sales or Industry Sales.
• Follow up on open quotes or phone calls for new product information.
• Establish and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers and representatives to generate new business.
• Support new business development activities by follow-up phone calls on sales leads.
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions and making recommendations to management.
• Back-up Inside Sales with phone calls and email support, ensuring responsive problem resolution.
