Bechtel Global Corporation is seeking a field engineering specialist in Brownsville, TX. The role focuses on work planning, material management, quantity verification, safety and quality control, and subcontract coordination to ensure field activities meet project standards.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science and 5–12 years of relevant experience, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and adherence to Bechtel’s safety philosophy and core processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in engineering or science.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience or 9–12 years of relevant work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Work Planning & Packaging: prepares construction drawings and facilitates planning of methods and procedures.
• Material Management: initiates requisitions for field purchases and prepares quantity takeoffs.
• Quantities: verifies commodities on tracking systems and databases.
• Safety / Quality Control: enforces zero accident philosophy and ensures safe equipment and practices.
• Technical: proactively pursues ongoing learning and development.
• System Turnover Coordinator: develops understanding of systems and drawings for package development.
• STR / Subcontract Coordinator: reviews inspection plans and coordinates subcontractor submittals.
