Job summary

Olin is seeking an Engineering Technician Mechanical - Instrumentation to support design, development, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems at the Independence facility. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Controls automation training program or relevant certificate preferred.
• 5 years relevant work experience with maintenance of instrumentation systems such as Metasys/DeltaV/Experitec or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with understanding of control systems.
• Ability to read schematics and work independently; proficiency with MS Office and documentation.
• Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Serve on Maintenance Instrumentation team, supporting alarm systems, process instrumentation, HVAC controls, and site instrumentation and control systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain instrumentation and control equipment for safe operation.
• Test, analyze results, and develop recommendations for corrective actions and system improvements.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with other trades, contractors, and operations personnel.
• Source replacement parts and materials, including vendor communication and purchase orders.
