Job summary

Winchester Ammunition in Independence, MO, is seeking an Engineering Technician Mechanical - Instrumentation to support design, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems and site instrumentation. You will join the Maintenance Instrumentation team, maintaining alarm systems, process instrumentation, and HVAC controls to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical aptitude, be able to read schematics, and possess 5 years' experience with instrumentation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; related certificate preferred.
• 5 years' experience maintaining instrumentation systems and controls.
• Ability to read schematics and drawings; work independently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain instrumentation and control equipment for safe, reliable operation.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and improve process instrumentation and alarm systems.
• Prepare estimates, maintain CMMS records, and coordinate with trades.
• Provide training and mentoring to junior technicians.
