Job summary

Diageo's Montgomery facility seeks an I&E Technician to support instrumentation, electrical systems, and DCS controls on bottling lines and liquid processing. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, maintenance, and collaboration within the Asset Care Team.

The successful candidate will work a shift pattern, bring strong PLC experience, and contribute to process optimization and safety compliance.

Qualifications

BAS in Engineering or equivalent technical work experience.
Minimum 2 years instrumentation and electrical maintenance experience.
Minimum 2 years Rockwell control systems experience.
Familiar with current electrical regulations, codes and safe work practices.
Proficient in Allen Bradley PLCs.
Understand SCADA systems.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot PLC code within the Allen Bradley environment.
Repair instrumentation, controls, and electrical circuits on schedule.
Inspect, diagnose, test, and adjust digital, pneumatic, and manual instrumentation.
Maintain process instrumentation and detection systems (pressure, flow, level).
Troubleshoot, tune, and optimize control loops.
Train team members and share best practices.
Optimize DCS screens and operator interfaces.
Maintain inventories and order spare parts per SAP CMMS.
Collaborate with maintenance team and cross-functional teams.
Read and interpret P&ID drawings and loop diagrams.
