DEW Softech Inc. seeks an experienced Instrumentation Designer to lead design deliverables for projects, act as the technical liaison, and ensure compliance with standards. Role is a contract and onsite in Houston, TX or Allentown, PA.

You will deliver instrument index, layouts, cable schedules, wiring diagrams, and 3D models using SP3D, supporting cross-functional teams and model reviews. Strong communication and collaboration are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical Diploma in Instrumentation
• Experience generating instrumentation design deliverables including wiring diagrams, cable schedules, hook up drawings, MTOs, layouts, and 3D modelling
• Experience preparing control room and analyzer room layouts
• Hands-on experience with SPI, SP3D, PDS, and MicroStation
• Experience with industrial plant layouts and model review meetings
• Interface with other disciplines to finalize cable layouts and instrument design deliverables
• Knowledge of global engineering standards and Oil & Gas industry experience

Responsabilidades

• Produce instrumentation design deliverables for projects
• Lead instrumentation design on the project and act as the technical interface with project teams
• Support other engineering centers as workload requires
• Maintain compliance with company or project standards and specifications
• Generate deliverables such as Instrument Index, Instrument Location Layouts, Cable Schedules, Wiring Diagrams/Schematics, Instrument Power Distribution, MTO, BOQ
• 3D modelling of equipment using SP3D and participate in model reviews
• Develop instrument design strategies and communicate execution plans
• Interface with other disciplines to resolve design issues and implement quality procedures
