Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Designer to join our client’s team at Allentown, PA or Houston, TX. The role delivers safe, fit-for-purpose instrument designs to schedule and budget, and serves as technical interface with project teams.

This contract position requires a degree in instrumentation, strong English communication, and proficiency with SP3D, SPI, or PDS. You will produce wiring diagrams, layouts, cable schedules, and 3D models, contributing to project

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or instrumentation diploma required.
• Excellent written and spoken English with strong communication skills.
• Experience in instrumentation design and related deliverables (wiring diagrams, layouts, MTOs, etc.).
• Experience generating instrument documentation and interfacing with project execution teams.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instrumentation design for projects on schedule and within budget.
• Produce all instrumentation deliverables for a project.
• Lead instrument design on the project and interface with execution teams.
• Interface with other disciplines to resolve design issues and ensure standards compliance.
• Develop common engineering practices and review vendor documents.
