Job summary

Airswift is seeking an Instrumentation Designer for a 1-year assignment in the US, with work at Houston, TX or Allentown, PA. You will deliver fit-for-purpose instrumentation design, 3D modelling, and related deliverables within project schedules.

The role requires an engineering degree in instrumentation and hands-on experience creating wiring diagrams, cable schedules, and hook-up drawings. Strong interfacing with multi-disciplinary teams and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma in instrumentation.
• Experience generating instrumentation design deliverables such as wiring diagrams, cable schedules, hook-up drawings, layouts.
• Experience preparing control room and analyzer room layouts.
• Experience working within an engineering organization and understanding how disciplines and support groups interact.
• Experience with plant layouts and model review meetings.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instrumentation design and project deliverables within schedules and budgets.
• Act as technical interface with project execution teams.
• Review vendor documents and ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to finalize cable layouts.
• Communicate clearly in written and spoken English.
