Job summary
Hargrove Engineers & Constructors seeks an Electrical/Instrumentation Drafter with 2+ years of experience to perform routine design of less complex electrical and instrumentation assignments under close supervision.
Responsibilities include drafting installation details, MCC single lines, wiring diagrams, cable schedules, grounding, lighting, power and instrumentation plans, and on-site startup support in alignment with NEC and CAD standards.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with NEC and drafting standards.
- Under supervision, designs less complex electrical/instrumentation work.
- Knowledge of lighting level and voltage drop calculations.
- Ability to size wire, conduit, and overcurrent protection.
- Proactive in communicating scope changes and on-site startup support.
Responsibilities
- Draft installation details and schematics.
- Prepare motor control center single lines and control panel layouts.
- Create grounding, lighting, power and instrumentation plans.
- Communicate scope and design changes promptly.
- Provide on-site assistance during startup.
