Job summary

Veolia in North America is seeking an HVAC Technician. The role installs, maintains, calibrates, troubleshoots, repairs, and overhauls HVAC systems at the treatment plant, ensuring efficient operation and safety compliance.

You will read blueprints, use testing equipment, and coordinate with other trades while keeping detailed work orders up to date. The position requires a high school diploma and extensive HVAC/electrical experience; related education may substitute.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Eight years of experience as an electrician, electronics repair person, or HVAC technician.
• Two years of related education at a college, trade school or equivalent may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, align and adjust controls for HVAC systems.
• Troubleshoot and adjust manual and automatic controls for HVAC equipment.
• Observe and interpret temperature and pressure devices.
• Maintain manual and/or computerized work orders and records.
• Provide assistance and direction to less experienced HVAC Technician and/or assigned helpers.
