Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking an Instrument Technician for the Axis, AL area. This role conducts calibration of electronic and pneumatic instrumentation, both field and control room, and installation of instrument loops.

Non-exempt, reports to the Foreman, and follows procedures; work is checked frequently. Responsibilities include calibration, loop setup, documentation, start-up procedures, and ensuring safety compliance in a demanding industrial setting.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of instrumentation experience (depending on level)
• Must pass post-offer drug/alcohol screen and health eval
• Comply with safety requirements and company policies
• No direct safety threats in the workplace

Responsibilities

• Calibrate electronic and pneumatic instruments in field and control room
• Install instrument loops and support loop checks
• Maintain loop drawings and commissioning records
• Test meters, gauges and indicators for accuracy and locate faults
