Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking an E&I Technician for the Axis, AL area. The Instrument Technician conducts calibration of instrumentation (electronic and pneumatic), field and control room, and installation of instrument loops.

Non-exempt role; Reports to the Foreman; Duties follow specific procedures with frequent checks. Essential qualifications include 1–4 years of experience, safety compliance, and adherence to drug/alcohol and policy requirements.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in instrumentation calibration.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screening, physical evaluation, and policy acknowledgment.
• Must comply with company and client safety requirements.
• Must not pose a direct threat to health or safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Inventory and catalog instruments for calibration.
• Set up calibration and loop files; assist/perform loop checks.
• Maintain installation and completion records and loop drawings.
• Inspect meters, gauges, and controllers for abnormal readings and faults.
• Lubricate instruments and replace defective wiring or tubing.
