Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of journeyman experience with an approved apprenticeship.
• Reading, writing and math skills comparable to a high school education.
• Experience with PLCs and distributed controls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair control circuits and loops, including level, pressure, temperature, flow, pH and conductivity.
• Disassemble, test, and reassemble instruments according to manufacturer specs.
• Inspect and calibrate instruments periodically.
• Install, adjust, and repair control mechanisms such as positioners.
• Work in elevated or confined spaces with up to 85% walking/standing.
• Report to the I&E Maintenance Supervisor.
