Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Instrument & Controls Technician to manage all phases of electrical and control equipment at the plant. Expect calibration, troubleshooting of DCS, PLCs, VFDs, meters, and burner management systems, plus updating Preventive Maintenance and work orders.

On-call and rotating shifts are required. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in industrial electronic/electrical environments, familiarity with OMRON/Allen Bradley PLCs, and safe, hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with electronic/electrical and pneumatic systems in an industrial environment.
• Energy from Waste or Power Plant experience desired.
• Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers and Distributive Control Systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain instrument and control test, calibration and repair areas and all equipment and tools assigned.
• Help redesign instrumentation, control and electrical systems as required.
• Monitor burning, as appropriate and ensure safe operation of facilities.
