Job summary

BD is seeking an Electrical Technician to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment on the day shift. You will handle electrical and controls issues, perform PM activities, and support material handling systems on a rotating 3-2-2 schedule.

The role requires 2+ years of electrical experience, an appropriate diploma or technical training, and strong communication with operations to prioritize and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Electrical troubleshooting knowledge with experience reading schematics and wiring to prints.
• Ability to troubleshoot PLCs, drives, robotics, vision/labeling systems.
• Proactive communication with production teams and timely documentation of repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and fix electrical issues on production machinery.
• Read machine schematics and investigate wiring problems.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, robotics, and vision/labeling systems.
• Coordinate with operators and leads on priorities; document work in logs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on material handling equipment.
