Airswift is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Technician to support calibration, troubleshooting, testing and repair of field instrumentation and control systems in a challenging LNG facility at Sabine Pass, TX.
The role involves DCS/PLC interfaces, safety instrumented systems, and exposure to commissioning, shutdowns, turnarounds, and reliability activities across process instrumentation and valves.
Competenze
- Associate degree or technical diploma or apprenticeship in instrumentation and control or related field.
- Typically 3–7 years of relevant industrial instrumentation and controls experience.
- Hands-on calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of process instruments and smart transmitters.
- Practical experience with pneumatic/ electro-pneumatic valves and ESD devices.
- Experience with safety-related instrumentation and SIS in LNG/natural gas environments.
Mansioni
- Calibrate, troubleshoot, test, and repair instrumentation and control systems across an industrial facility.
- Maintain and test safety instrumented systems (SIS), ESD devices, and related interlocks.
- Interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, and cause‑and‑effect charts.
- Support commissioning, turnarounds, and reliability activities in a complex LNG facility.
