Job summary

Venture Global LNG seeks a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to join the project team at Cameron, LA. Based at the CP2 facility, you will report to the Director of Engineering and lead I&C design, upgrades, and troubleshooting on complex process systems.

Candidates should have 10+ years in instrumentation and control, experience with DCS/PLC and safety systems (Mark VIe, Yokogawa, HIMA), OT networks, and field instrumentation. LNG experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience with instrumentation and control systems.
• Experience with plant Instrumented Control and Safety Systems (e.g. DCS/PLC such as Mark VIe, Yokogawa, and safety systems).
• Operational technology networks, firewalls and cybersecurity.
• Field instrumentation for process measurement and transmission systems (4-20mA, Hart, ProfiBus).
• Alarm management systems and audits.

Responsibilities

• I&C MOC/HAZOP/RFI signoff, Site I&C design/installation technical authority
• Ensure contractor adheres to project standards
• Provide design solution to upgrades and modifications on existing facilities
• Assist Commissioning and operation teams to troubleshoot and isolate control system issues
• Assist PSSR close out and walk downs, Review progress of assigned systems
• Review and approve bulk material substitutions (cables, cable glands, tubing, tubing fittings, etc.)
• Review progress of assigned systems
• Review and approve temporary modifications to I&C equipment, Provides input to weekly site engineering report
