Job summary

Venture Global LNG is seeking a qualified Maintenance Controls Technician to oversee all controls (DCS, PLC, SIS, F&G, analyzer systems) at CPLNG. Based at the Calcasieu Pass facility, you’ll work with operations, maintenance and engineering to ensure safe, reliable plant performance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in maintenance controls in oil & gas or petrochemical settings, strong knowledge of ISA/NFPA 70E, and proven ability to mentor junior technicians while following HPSE procedures and

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in maintenance controls in LNG/oil & gas facilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical industrial standards (ISA, NFPA 70E).
• Experience maintaining DCS/SIS/PLCs and related applications.

Responsibilities

• Executes all Controls systems (DCS, PLCs, SIS, F&G and analyzer systems) maintenance per HSSE standards.
• Adheres to CPLNG Maintenance Manual and Work Management processes and procedures.
• Identify safety, health and environmental hazards and coordinate with Operations.
• Performs problem solving to implement reliability improvements.
• Acts as Maintenance SME for control systems and mentors juniors.
• Prepares Job Safety Hazard Analysis and work permits in advance.
• Collaborates with operations, maintenance and engineering for safe completion of scheduled work.
• Maintains daily progress reports per maintenance processes.
• Leads daily progress and planning meetings; participates in backlog reviews.
• Oversees contractor work and ensures compliance with CPLNG procedures.
