Job summary

TekWissen is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Technician for LNG facilities. You will install, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair instrumentation and control systems across LNG processes, safety systems, and final control elements.

Collaboration with Operations, Maintenance, Electrical, and Engineering teams ensures reliability and uptime. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with DCS/PLC, SIS/ESD, and field instrumentation in LNG or petrochemical environments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting field instruments.
• Experience with SIS/ESD and safety instrumentation in process industries.
• Familiarity with DCS/PLC interfaces and instrument loops.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on field instrumentation.
• Calibrate transmitters, switches, and pressure/temperature devices.
• Inspect control valves, actuators, and final control elements.
• Support DCS/PLC troubleshooting and loop checks during commissioning.
• Assist with SIS/ESD testing and safety system validation.
• Document maintenance activities and review instrument data sheets.
