Required Experience:
- Typically 3–7 years of relevant industrial instrumentation and controls experience
- Hands‑on experience calibrating, maintaining, and troubleshooting pressure, temperature, flow, and level instruments, including smart transmitters, switches, and associated field devices
- Practical experience with pneumatic and electro‑pneumatic control valves, valve positioners, actuators, solenoid valves, ESD valves, and valve stroke or functional testing
- Experience maintaining or testing safety‑related instrumentation, emergency shutdown devices, fire and gas detectors, interlocks, and safety instrumented functions in accordance with approved procedures
- Experience in an LNG facility, natural gas processing plant, refinery, petrochemical facility, or other complex industrial process environment
Required Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of DCS and PLC interfaces, analog and digital I/O, 4–20 mA signals, HART communications, loop checks, and field instrumentation integration
- Ability to install, inspect, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, test, and repair instrumentation and control systems across an industrial process facility
- Experience using digital pressure calibrators, temperature calibrators, multifunction calibrators, HART communicators, and related test equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot control loops, instrument signal failures, communication issues, bad process values, and I/O channel faults
- Knowledge of SIS, ESD, fire and gas detection systems, proof testing, and functional testing of safety instrumented functions
- Ability to interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, hook‑up drawings, cable schedules, logic diagrams, and cause‑and‑effect charts
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Working knowledge of CMMS documentation, preventive maintenance programs, calibration management, and maintenance records
- Strong understanding of process safety, permit‑to‑work requirements, lockout/tagout, hazardous‑area work practices, and safe work execution
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Emerson DeltaV, Honeywell Experion, ABB control systems, Siemens PLCs, and applicable remote I/O platforms
- Previous experience in LNG, natural gas processing, pipelines, refining, petrochemicals, or a similar industrial process environment
- Manufacturer training, instrumentation certifications, control valve training, or SIS‑related training
