BW Design Group seeks an experienced instrumentation and controls engineer to lead design and estimating for capital projects across food & beverage, health, life sciences, and tech sectors in the Pasadena area.

You will develop control system architectures, select I/O and P&IDs, and collaborate with multi-discipline teams, contractors, and clients to deliver safe, reliable, and optimized solutions from preliminary design through commissioning.

Formación

• Bachelor degree with emphasis on process control and instrumentation.
• 3+ years leading instrumentation and controls design for capital projects.
• Experience with Rockwell Automation hardware/software and PLC/SCADA development.
• Ability to travel for site installs and client meetings.
• Experience coordinating with owners, contractors, system integrators, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsabilidades

• Develop instrumentation and control system designs for industrial manufacturing and process environments.
• Engineer PLC and SCADA interfaces to support safety, reliability, and optimization.
• Lead instrumentation and controls design and estimating during project phases.
• Perform facility and system job walks to assess conditions, define scope, and identify constraints.
• Develop system architecture, instrumentation selections, I/O, P&IDs, data sheets, and network documentation.
• Coordinate design activities with engineering teams, contractors, system integrators, and client representatives.
