Job summary

Crusoe Energy Systems LLC in Denver is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer II to design and verify control systems inside modular data centers. You will work with senior I&C engineers to develop point lists, instrument schedules, and drawings, then validate them on the factory floor.

The role emphasizes hands-on FAT, field verification, and collaboration with manufacturing teams. A Bachelor's in a technical field and experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Ignition SCADA, and testing

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of professional experience in industrial instrumentation and controls.
• Familiar with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms (Studio 5000, ControlLogix/CompactLogix).
• Hands-on Ignition SCADA or similar platform experience.
• Ability to execute structured test procedures and document results.
• Experience in active manufacturing/construction environments.
• Proven collaborative judgment and independent engineering standards application.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Develop point lists, instrument schedules, I/O assignments, and control drawings.
• Execute FAT protocols on control panels and modules, including verification and calibration.
• Support manufacturing on the factory floor resolving issues.
• Contribute to repeatable design packages, drawing templates, and test procedures.
• Coordinate with panel fabricators, system integrators, and instrument suppliers.
• Conduct field walks and basic calibration verification for commissioning readiness.
• Maintain as-built drawings and test records for reliable handover.
