Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Instrument and Controls Designer excited about projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. You’ll design state‑of‑the‑art facilities, develop 3D models and 2D drawings of control systems, and work with global multidisciplinary teams.

You’ll follow ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbology for P&ID, manage schedules, prepare reports, and contribute to a culture of collaboration. Jacobs offers a hybrid policy with offices and remote locations to deliver your best work.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of BIM design experience.
• Experience using BIM360, Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects designing state-of-the-art data center, semiconductor, and other manufacturing facilities.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings of industrial facility control systems.
• Work within global multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage time efficiently across multiple projects.
