Job summary

Lilly is seeking an Instrument Technician to provide process instrumentation maintenance for the Medicine Foundry. The role focuses on equipment availability, calibration, troubleshooting, and reliability, ensuring assets meet cGMP standards and safety requirements.

The position supports calibrations and long-term instrument reliability, with a shift-based schedule in Carmel/Indianapolis area and eventual placement in Lebanon, Indiana. Strong problem-solving and CMMS proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial process instrumentation and calibration in FDA-regulated environment.
• Ability to read P&ID drawings and schematics.
• Experience with electrical systems and calibration (pressure, temperature, flow, level, pH, conductivity).
• Proficient with electrical test equipment (flukes, oscilloscopes, signal generators).
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all HSE procedures and safety practices.
• Follow LOTO processes and report safety concerns to supervisor.
• Meet quality standards defined by cGMP and Global Quality Standards.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on process instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation equipment and perform repairs to minimize downtime.
• Operate electrical test equipment and support IQ/OQ for new equipment.
