Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical certification in Instrumentation preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in industrial environments.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, electrical schematics, and manuals.
• Knowledge of industrial control systems, instrumentation, and process equipment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to maintain insurable status.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screenings and safety trainings.
• TWIC card and/or site credentials may be required.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate industrial instrumentation and control devices.
• Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance on instrumentation systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Test and calibrate pressure, flow, level, temperature, and analytical instruments.
• Install and repair control valves, transmitters, switches, gauges, and related equipment.
• Assist with commissioning, startup, shutdown, and turnaround activities.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, loop sheets, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Verify proper operation of PLC, DCS, and related control systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
