Job summary

EXCEL Group is seeking an Instrument Technician to install, calibrate, and maintain a wide range of instrumentation and control systems essential to our industrial processes. You will interpret P&IDs and schematics, install and calibrate gauges, sensors, valves, and related devices, and ensure safe, accurate operation across plant instruments.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of electrical diagrams, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and schematics.
Install, assemble, and calibrate industrial instruments and control systems.
Maintain and calibrate hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical instruments.
Analyze circuits and electrical diagrams for installation and repair work.
Document installations, calibrations, repairs, and maintenance accurately.

Responsibilities

Interpret and analyze technical drawings, P&IDs, and schematics for instrument installation.
Install, assemble, and calibrate instruments like gauges, sensors, meters, valves.
Maintain and calibrate hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical instruments.
Analyze circuits and wiring diagrams to service electronic devices and control systems.
Mount, align, and connect instruments using specialized tools.
