Job summary

Ardent Services, LLC is seeking an Instrument Technician to install, calibrate, troubleshoot, test and repair instrument devices used to measure and control temperature, flow, pressure and level in industrial processes.

The role requires working from drawings and schematics, familiarity with instrument loop drawings (P&IDs), and safe use of test equipment. Candidates must have a valid TWIC card and be local to the area, with adherence to NEC/OSHA safety practices and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have valid TWIC card.
• Must be local to the area.
• Knowledge of NEC/OSHA safety practices as they pertain to instrument technician work.

Responsibilities

• Work independently from drawings, schematics, diagrams and manuals.
• Familiar with instrument loop drawings (P&IDs) and related diagrams.
• Safely use test equipment to troubleshoot, test and calibrate temperature, pressure, flow and level instruments and controllers.
• Familiar with installation of tubing and fittings for sensing lines and purges.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout, confined spaces, and other safety procedures.
