Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to install, test, calibrate, troubleshoot, overhaul and repair electrical, controlling, indicating and measuring instrument devices. You will read manuals, schematics and loop drawings and apply calibration procedures to ensure process performance.

Candidates should have 2+ years journeyman instrumentation experience, knowledge of electrical schematics and PLCs, and NCCER/TDLR certifications with a valid TWIC and driver’s license.

• Must understand electrical schematics and PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, calibrate, troubleshoot, overhaul and repair instrumentation.

• Calibrate equipment and interpret process control procedures.
• Maintain safety, health, and regulatory compliance.
