Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking an Instrument Technician to install, test, calibrate, troubleshoot, overhaul and repair instruments and control systems in Deer Park, TX. Responsibilities include wiring, reading schematics, and calibrating equipment. Must hold NCCER/TDLR/TWIC licenses and a valid driver’s license. Equal opportunity employer.

Candidate must have 2+ years journeyman experience and be able to work safely in industrial environments with PPE as required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years journeyman-level experience.
• NCCER, TDLR, a Valid TWIC Card and Driver’s License required.
• Ability to read manuals, wiring or instrumentation schematics.
• Able to work in industrial environments with lifting up to 50 pounds and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Layout, fabricate and install tubing and tub trays.
• Read blueprints, schematics and loop drawings and prepare job reports.
• Calibrate equipment using common calibration procedures.
• Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
