Job summary

Flowserve Temecula seeks an Instrument Technician responsible for calibrating, inspecting, assembling, and testing Flowserve products in accordance with procedures and certifying agency requirements.

You will maintain calibration records, oversee outsourced calibration, and ensure traceability to NIST standards, while supporting engineers and other technicians on basic design and quality assurance tasks.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in quality inspection or QA.
• Experience in electronic manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to operate a Multimeter and perform calibration tasks.
• Familiar with NIST standards and calibration traceability.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, adjust, and maintain all measuring devices, gages and test equipment.
• Collect and maintain calibration records electronically and on paper where applicable.
• Oversee and assist in outsourced calibration and ensure traceability to NIST standards.
• Repair or replace damaged gages and evaluate new methods to improve inspection speed.
• Create NCRs and CARs to communicate non-conforming product issues.
• Verify customer requirements are met on products through manufacturing, assembly, and test.
• Train shop personnel in proper use and care of measuring/testing equipment.
• Update certification records as products and standards change.
